At this Rawdon garden the owners had an unloved and impractical back garden that didn’t allow the owner to maximise the outside space they had. Uneven surfacing and slightly sloped garden meant that the owner had struggled to maintain the garden and create a space she would really enjoyed spending time in.
As part of the project we filled in one of the owners two ponds and then paved over the area using a 3-ring promenade set edge patio within an old York pavers, edged with midnight blue setts. The new patio are provides a centre piece the new garden and a place the owners can sit and relax after a long day at work.
As the garden is lower than the property we also transformed the approach to the garden, adding in paved areas which can be used for pots, plants and garden features. The owner absolutely loved the transformation of their garden and the extra living space it provided.
